who we are

The Ben Ismail family: a father and his two sons, and a valleyed terrain covering 50 hectares on which 5000 olive saplings are growing. Amazing scenery is the backdrop to the domain where a Roman archaeological site is rendered sublime by the vestiges of a triumphal arc.

where we are

Perched at 1100 metres above sea level, the village of Thuccabor in the North of Tunisia perpetuates a thousand year old tradition of growing olives. The olive trees described as “Roman” are proof of the intense attachment to the land, dating back to the Phoenician era.

our variety

The Chetoui variety is dominant in the olive groves of the family domain and is perfectly adapted to the pedoclimatic conditions of the area. Oil directly obtained from the Chetoui variety has a naturally low acidity count and its organoleptic qualities are recognised and appreciated by both tasting professionals and amateurs.

biodynamic

The will to succeed in oil tourism motivated the Ben Ismail family to develop a biodynamic oil culture to ensure harmony and balance with the olive tree and the soil. The family inhabits a fertile land, full of history. They welcome guests from the whole world to share with them the art of tasting oil of excellence.
